| A unique venue located in a futuristic, cylindrical structure on Sukumvit soi 11 is Bed Supperclub. Bed Supperclub is housed in a futuristic, cylindrical structure. The dining area is minimalist in style and diners sit on "beds" against opposite walls in the restaurant section. As the evening begins, Bed Supperclub opens its doors to diners who are seated in its left part on white beds in a minimalistic white interior. Here, they are served a three-course menu (four course on weekend) that is best described as Mediterranean with strong Asian overtones. Main courses include delicious dishes like pan-fried sword fish with fennel-corn meal crust, and coriander-soy marinated lamb sirloin. As the night progresses, the right side of the club opens up for business. This part is similarly minimalistic and white in its decor though slightly more club-like in its layout. This is where the main party at Bed Supperclub takes place. Meanwhile, the restaurant is slowly converted from dining to a lounge like area with DJ, light dancing and people hanging out, a style that perfectly complements the club room next door. This combination allows Bed Supperclub to offer two ways of partying all within the chic white interior of this one club. The music varies by the night. Especially note worthy is Tuesday for hip hop and Friday for cool mixing of known sounds in the restaurant part. Wednesday is models night so even more of the beautiful people than normal can be found on that night sipping free drinks in the bar. Alternatives to Bed Supperclub in cludes nearby Q Bar for partying as well as Long Table for dining, the last offering a Bed supperclub menu with a view. For a chic drink, another choice would be Koi in Sukumvit soi 16. For two people on week days expect to pay less than 2,200 baht for the menu. The four-course dinner on weekends cost a bit more. | |
